Big News!

Stampin' Up! has announced some big changes concerning their Angel Policy, you can read an article about it HERE  I am just so excited about this!!!  Just remember, this does not go into effect until November 15th.

Fall Fest

I mentioned a little blurb yesterday about my attendance at Fall Fest this past Saturday (10/13).  I had a total blast, and my travel companions were THE Best!!!  I am going to show you two of the projects we made (we made more).

 

We stamped on a silk scarf with Stampin' Up!'s Craft ink.  Stamp set used was Priceless.  I used it to accent my new little "Ink"credible tote bag (which was a available for purchase at the event). Isn't that just the cutest thing ever!!!!!!

We will be stamping on a silk scarf at one of my future classes, so keep checking my Calendar!!

The little "dish" to the right was an Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy (those who have seen Austin Powers would know that line) project.  It is just Old Olive cardstock, Dashing DSP tied off with Vanilla-Red-Olive grosgrain ribbon.  My class attendees will be making a Fall version of this basket this coming Saturday.  If you live nearby and would like to attend, let me know right away, I only have a couple of spaces left. 

If I get the "OK" I will post pictures of the display boards and samples from Fall Fest in an album here.

Gina, to answer your question, Yes I did use "sticky strip" to adhere the DSP to the Tea Tin.

This past Saturday I went up to North Jersey with my Upline Claire and sidelines Alison & Nikki.  Kristin had a little accident with her finger and was unable to make the trip with us, we all missed her big time.  So what am I babbling about??!!  It was Fall Fest!!  Still unsure of what that is?  It is only The Most Awesome gathering of all time!!!  My great grandmother (as uplines go) Tina Rosenkrans holds some incredible events throughout the year for business building and some wonderful Make & Take projects and ideas.  Wait until you see some of the projects we made!  I will post them tomorrow, I haven't taken any pics yet {blush}

So let me see what I can find to share with you.......

This was a super simple project that I made about a month ago, and it came together in no time flat!  I just adhered some Brocade Background DSP to the Tea Tin and embellished with some ribbon.  Boom! That's it!  Well, ok, I punched a large oval with a Marvy punch and stamped the swirl with Versamark and the word "Cherish" with Chocolate Chip classic ink, added a copper brad on each side and then glued it to the front of the can!  Voila, a beatiful gift that comes together in moments.  I bought the tin from Specialty Bottle, they have some great things at some really great prices!

I've been Published!! And some Blog Booty!!!!

I just about fell out of my chair when I read the email from Papercrafts wanting to publish my card.  My card is in Novembers issue on page 16!!!!                               

Here it is!!  All supplies are from SU. Stamp set : Delight in Life; Ink: Black Stazon, Versamark; CS: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black,  Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal, watercolor paper; Word Window punch, Twinkling H2O's, copper brads, Cuttlebug with D'vine Swirl EF.

Now on to some Blog Booty!!!  Paper Crafts magazine was very generous and gave me three copies of this issue and I would like to share with you!!!  So leave a comment on this post , you have until Sunday the 14th at midnight, and I will pick a name out of the hat for the magazine and some other goodies I have lying around!!!
